About

Liz is living her dream. Born and raised in New York, Liz has always been enamored and inspired by costume as an expression of character and story. After completing her dual-degree, undergraduate studies in English Literature and Art History at Columbia University, Liz worked her way up in the New York entertainment scene. Starting in theatre, Liz eventually found her passion for film and television, and has since worked as a costume designer all over the country and abroad. Her foundation in literature and fine art has always been a cornerstone of her design process; her love and knowledge of dress construction, clothing history, and collaborative creativity is what pushes her forward.

Liz has been a part of design teams for film, opera, theater, television, and print. She has been a featured speaker at Wondercon, the Savannah College of Art and Design, Carnegie Mellon School of Theater and the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and The Costume Designer’s Guild.
