About

Born and raised in New York, Liz has always been enamored with costume as an expression of character and story. After completing her dual-degree, undergraduate studies in English Literature and Art History at Columbia University, Liz worked her way up in the New York entertainment scene. Starting in theatre, Liz eventually found her passion for film and television, and has since worked as a costume designer all over the country and abroad. Her foundations in literature, fine art and fashion history are cornerstones of her design process; her love for tailoring and construction, and creative collaboration, is what pushes her forward.

Liz has been a part of design teams for film, opera, theater, television, and print. She has been a featured speaker at Wondercon, the Savannah College of Art and Design, Carnegie Mellon University, and the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and The Costume Designers Guild, Local 892.
